GFWC Wyoming State Convention was very enjoyable & full of useful knowledge from many talented and intelligent women of this club! About some of the events: The National GFWC had a contest this year to raise awareness in the area of conservation. Each club was challenged to make an outfit out of reusable shopping bags. The outfits are being judged at state conventions across the country as club women model their creations. The winners from each state will then model and be judged at the

Marcia Volner concentrated on her delightful knitted shawl, Betty Jean Carter was demonstrating how to do the Thermal Crochet Stitch, Gail Aldred was busy on her Cupcake knitted hat, Jeannie Weidner was engaged on her needlepoint, Charlette Stewart occupied her time on a beautiful crocheted afghan, while Shirley Black steadily crocheted a scarf for Special Olympics
