The Literature Section will meet Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 1pm at the Rock Springs Library on C Street. You are invited to join us to share what you love to read. We will then head over to the Child Developmental Center following at about 2:15 to deliver task boxes, books, and a check. Any members wishing to go are welcome.

Our 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 of the Woman’s Club of Rock Springs was held Today, @ 1pm in the Ferrero room at the Rock Springs Library on C Street. Many members attended this very informative meeting. Discussions focused on the important work of bees & butterflies. We have all read news reports about declining populations of native pollinators. Colony collapse disorder, for example, is a major problem for commercial honeybee hives used to pollinate agricultural crops. The problem is complex, and there are multiple factors at work. Several ladies worked on finishing up the Task Boxes for the CDC and the State Convention Contest Project, but many brought their own projects to work on…from afghans and knitted hats to hot pads and dish clothes. Our General luncheon meeting was held at the Outlaw Inn.  It was AWESOME! Many new faces attended with some ones we haven’t seen in awhile! We also had one initiation which was Shirley Palmer!  AND 6 new members! Welcome aboard!! Our Guest Speaker Corporal Brenda Baker with the Rock Springs Police Department was very ill & could not make it BUT… we had the privilege of having Officer Nicole Rublee fill in for her. Tom Volner will be going to SLC March 27, 2018 so he can drop them off for us.
