  The Woman’s Club of Rock Springs is selling Community Day Booklets for Herberger’s! Herbergers provides a way for nonprofits to earn money for projects during their twice annual Community Days promotion. They provide coupon books to these organizations to sell at a cost of $5 each. The organization also sells the coupon books at Herbergers during the days of the sale. Money from books sold by the organization is kept by the organization. The next board meeting for GFWC Woman’s Club of Rock Springs will be held at the downtown library on C Street in the Ferrero room on Thursday February 1st at 10:30 am. Our hostess will be Rue Marie Finney.

January 16 @ 11:30am General Meeting Our luncheon and meeting will be held at the Outlaw Inn 1630 Elk Street Rock Springs, WY  (We will be in our usual room right thur the front doors.) The menu will be an Italian Buffett.

Literature Section will be held January 13th at 1:00. We will share information on books we have read, trade/ borrows books from each other & recommend books of all types (fiction & non-fiction).  We will meet in the Ferrero  room at the downtown Rock Springs Library.

Our next Busy Hands section meeting will be on January 23rd at 1:00 pm in the Ferrero room at the Rock Springs Library. Mary Huff will be demonstrating how to make rag rugs. If you have a large crocheting needle bring it along (a size N (10 mm) would be good) or one will be provided.

We will meet for the Garden section on February 6th 1pm in the Ferrero room at the Rock Springs Library.  Our host will be Marcia Volner.  

Our newest section, Genealogy section will be held on January 18th at 10:30 and will be hosted by Leslie Jo Gatti. We will meet in the Ferrero room at the downtown Rock Springs Library. Bring your computer if you want.

♪ “Oh What Fun!!” ♪ ♫ This years GFWC Christmas dinner was held at the Western Wyoming College. 19 members, 2 new members, and guests enjoyed a delicious catered dinner of Grilled Chicken. The delightful entertainment was singer Melody Williams who sang a variety of christmas carols and songs. Activities included Christmas Word Scramble, Trivia games, Guess the song, and Christmas Crackers, along with fun conversation, socializing and Door Prizes. Wonderful Food!

Whatnots &Wine in the Emporium at 513 Bridger in Rock Springs will be selling RSWC kitchen boas and wine cozies to aid club fundraising.
