Two checks for two causes were donated at the hospital this morning. One for sweatsuits to be purchased for people who need something to wear when leaving the Emergency Room and one for Waldner House where families of people receiving cancer treatments can stay while their loved one is getting treatments at our cancer facility. Today we donated to The Family Resource center. The Sweetwater Family Resource Center Provides safe programs and services for families and individuals in our community to promote their well-being. It works toward a community of stable and non-violent families and individuals.
The club presented a check to the Patriot Day Golf Tournament honoring our first responders.
The club recently presented a check to Joy Christian state president of ADK for her state project the Giving Pack, a program run by high school students, giving food to students who may otherwise not have enough to eat on weekends and holidays
The club recently made a donation to the Trona Valley Foundation that helps students in Green River by providing bags of food on weekends and holidays during the school year for those who might otherwise go without. Thank you Trona Valley for helping those in need.
The club recently donated to Rock Springs Main Street URA for downtown flowers and beautification of our city!
Today WCSC donated $1025 to Hospice of Sweetwater County. Thank you Hospice for all the wonderful end of life care you have given to members of our families and for the caring and support shown to the families. You are a much needed part of our community.
