Club Makes Donation for New Bench in the Veteran’s Area of the Columbarium
Our club recently made a donation to a the Rock Springs City Council to help with beautifying the columbarium at our local cemetery.

Members Celebrate a Successful Year at the Annual Christmas Party
Members enjoyed themselves socializing at the annual Christmas party at the Boar’s Tusk Steakhouse in Rock Springs. Club members also exchanged gifts and brought donations of food for the local soup kitchen and toys and books for the local Stuff the Bus program, as a final bit of giving back to cap off the holiday season. We’ll see everyone next year!
Club Makes Holiday House Donation to Alzheimer’s
Every year our club donates 10% of the income generated by our Holiday House raffle to a charity of the homeowner’s choosing. Our 2023 Holiday House hostess Carmen Lakey selected Alzheimer’s as the cause she wanted to support. The club ended up donating $240.
Club Contributes to Power of the Purse 2023
Club members supported the 2023 Power of the Purse event to benefit Hospice of Sweetwater County.
Club Donates Items to Children in Foster Care
For this year’s Advocates for Children week, our club gathered donations of items for children in foster care. Thank you to April Dittman, this year’s Junior Special Programs chair, for organizing this donation!
Club Donates 205 Pounds of Food to “Loaves and Fishes” Soup Kitchen to Combat Food Insecurity
After collecting donations from the community throughout the month of September, our club donated 205 Pounds of food to the “Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen” to help combat food insecurity in Sweetwater County.
Club Helps Fight Food Insecurity Through September
We are working to fight food insecurity this month. Look for our collection boxes at both Libraries in Rock Springs and the one in Green River, Family Vision, Joes liquor, Larry’s Hair Salon, High Country Hearing Center and the Mane Place. Food donations will go to the soup Kitchen at the end of the month. They will be used for cooking meals and to give to people who are in need. Club to Participate in Walk to End Alzheimer’s August 26th
Our club is registered as a team in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s taking place at Bunning Park in downtown Rock Springs on Saturday, August 26th. Registration opens at 9:00am and Opening Ceremonies begin at 10:00am. Follow this link to join or donate to our team!
