Club to Participate in Walk to End Alzheimer’s August 26th
Our club is registered as a team in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s taking place at Bunning Park in downtown Rock Springs on Saturday, August 26th. Registration opens at 9:00am and Opening Ceremonies begin at 10:00am. Follow this link to join or donate to our team!
Deadline for College Grants Approaching!
The deadline to apply for our college grants for the Fall Semester at WWCC is fast approaching! Apply by July 31st for you chance at a grant to help with college expenses!
Successful Summer Fundraisers
Our club had two successful fundraisers recently. June 23rd and 24th our yard sale raised several hundred dollars, and our booth at International Day on July 8th raised even more with our crafts and gluten free baked goods for sale.
Lending Closet Seeks Equipment Donations
The lending closet is in need of equipment donations to loaned out for the benefit of those in need in our community. If you have a regular, transfer or bariatric wheelchairs you are able to donate, equipment will be gratefully accepted.
Donation to Wyoming Writers, Inc.
Our club recently donated two baskets as door prizes for the 49th annual conference of the non-profit Wyoming Writers, Inc.
Board Meeting Friday, June 2nd, 2023
Our next Board Meeting is Friday June 2, @ 10:30 at White Mountain Library. This is a chance for new board members to get information on their duties. Please attend if possible.
Club Members Can Get Shirts to Promote the Women’s Club of Sweetwater County
Bring Marcia Volner or Michelle Smith a t-shirt and get this great iron on. The club QRC is on the shirt to make it easy to share our website and Facebook pages as well as donate.

Baskets for upcoming Alzheimer’s Event Raffles picked were up today.
Club Installs New Officers for the 2023-2024 Year
At our general meeting we installed our new officers for the coming year! New officers Susan Arguello Treasurer, Kimberly Kellum Vice President, Charlene Stillion Correspondence Secretary, Edna Larsen past president doing installation and Marcia Volner President. Annette Burkey Auditor and Lynn Mornar secretary not present.
