Our club has met our Community Improvement Project goal to install new artificial turf at the canine play area of Rock Springs Animal Control! This installation will benefit the health and safety of the dogs, making them more adoptable in the long run. Join us on October 28th at Noon at Rock Springs Animal Control for a grand opening and ribbon-cutting to celebrate the completion of our project to make lives better for dogs waiting for their forever homes. Mayor Max Mickelson’s proclamation of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month was attended by several of our club members! Watch the proclamation below!
Today we delivered 20 bags of caring to the YWCA. These were made at our fall workshop in Casper with clubs across the state contributing. Each is labeled with a size and contains a set of clothing and lots of hygiene items for those who end up leaving a bad situation with only the clothes on their backs.
Today club members assembled more comfort bags for the Green River Police Department at our Busy Hands Section meeting. Following the assembly of the bags we began signing Christmas cards for our military. Come join us the third Tuesday of the month at white mountain library 1:00 PM.
Our club gave four book grants to Western Wyoming Community College students this semester! Pictured are Megan Luster and Josiah Anderson with our education chair Jennie Malonek in the center. Two more grants were awarded, but the recipients were not available for a photo: Amber Gold and Katie Samz.
Today our club welcomed a new member, Deanne Autry! Welcome to the family Deanne, we’re happy to have you!
Our club once again donated a basket to the Ride for the Patch fundraiser! This year’s recipient is Nick Sala who was injured in an oilfield accident.
Our club now has a Bonfire store to sell merch! Currently all merch sales will go to benefit our Community Improvement Project for Animal Control, after our goal is met the merch sales will shift to benefiting the club. Check out some of what you can get below and click here to buy merch now!
If you’re a fan of Batman or Lego, or both, you’re going to love our next club raffle! This set of the 1989 Batwing Lego set is still sealed in the original box! We’re raffling it off by way of a line raffle. 50 lines are available at $20 per line. Contact the club through the Contact Us page or the Facebook Page to let us know you’re buying lines! If you want particular numbered lines lets us know otherwise numbers will be assigned randomly.
