After collecting donations from the community throughout the month of September, our club donated 205 Pounds of food to the “Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen” to help combat food insecurity in Sweetwater County.
Members of our club attended the GFWC Wyoming state workshop in Riverton for a day of learning and connecting. Much was learned and food was donated for the national day of service.
Join WCSC at the Rock Springs Library on October 5th @ 6pm to learn about outdoor opportunities for residents of Sweetwater County. We will have presenters fro Wyoming Game & Fish, Wyoming State Parks and more. Light refreshments will be provided.

We are working to fight food insecurity this month. Look for our collection boxes at both Libraries in Rock Springs and the one in Green River, Family Vision, Joes liquor, Larry’s Hair Salon, High Country Hearing Center and the Mane Place. Food donations will go to the soup Kitchen at the end of the month. They will be used for cooking meals and to give to people who are in need. Our club partnered with High Country Hearing Center for the 2023 Walk to End Alzheimers. Go team!
Our club is registered as a team in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s taking place at Bunning Park in downtown Rock Springs on Saturday, August 26th. Registration opens at 9:00am and Opening Ceremonies begin at 10:00am. Follow this link to join or donate to our team!

The deadline to apply for our college grants for the Fall Semester at WWCC is fast approaching! Apply by July 31st for you chance at a grant to help with college expenses!
Our club had two successful fundraisers recently. June 23rd and 24th our yard sale raised several hundred dollars, and our booth at International Day on July 8th raised even more with our crafts and gluten free baked goods for sale.
