Our club donated food we collected in September to Loaves and Fishes Soup kitchen today. Thanks to all who donated.
Our club recently donated comfort bags, including stuffed animals and hand-crocheted blankets, to the Green River Police department. These bags are used to help children who are going through the court system as a result of a traumatic experience to be able to remain calm.
Our club donated five hundred dollars to the American Legion to help with the veterans’ columbarium to be placed in the Rock Springs cemetery.
Our club donated money for a plaque to be put on the bench designated for suicide awareness in Bunning Park.
Women’s Club was thrilled to get a generous donation from JJ Hadley with BAB investments today for the veterans bench to be placed in the Green River Cemetery near the columbarium reserved for veterans. We were able to order the bench and will see it soon in the cemetery.
Actors’ Mission Inc., Sweetwater County’s premier community theater, will be hosting their annual Oktoberfest fundraiser in Bunning Park on Saturday, September 21st. While you’re there, take a moment to put in for this raffle basket we donated to help them raise money!
Our basket donation is ready for Maggie Springs Run, fundraiser for Wyatt and Tabitha. They need funds for cancer treatment.
A wine and writing basket was donated for the annual Wyoming Writers, Inc. Conference.
Susan Arguello club treasurer recently presented a check to Robert Hernandez for St. Christopher’s Highway. This program helps stranded travelers.
Two checks for two causes were donated at the hospital this morning. One for sweatsuits to be purchased for people who need something to wear when leaving the Emergency Room and one for Waldner House where families of people receiving cancer treatments can stay while their loved one is getting treatments at our cancer facility.
