On March 3rd, members of our club donated $150 in gift cards for various local stores and gas stations to the YWCA of Sweetwater County Center for Children and Families to help provide assistance to the survivors of domestic abuse.

Melinda Bass, executive director for the YWCA, expressed the YWCA’s appreciation to the Women’s Club of Sweetwater County.

“We’re so grateful to get these,” said Bass. “These gift cards will help current clients in the community and those coming in to get food and gas as they’re starting over again.”
