Giving Back Throughout the Autum

Check out the many ways our club members having been giving back to Sweetwater County this fall!

The family visitation room at the Department of Family Services needed a facelift. Enter WCSC to paint the walls, paint a chalkboard section, provide new furniture and couch, some new toys and books, pictures on the wall and it has a whole new vibe.

President Marcia Volner displays a few items from the wagon full of cleaning and hygiene items collected in support of the LDS hygiene drive.

Members helped the Sweetwater Child Developmental Center make gift baskets for new moms giving birth at Sweetwater Memorial Hospital.

Two members met with the principal and assistant principal of Stagecoach Elementary to present the final check from our club to help with the adaptive playground equipment to be installed on the playground. This check was the money donated by our wonderful community at our authors and artists event, international day and Green River farmers market. It totaled $2155.76. Added to the $1500 already donated last year by the club with the help of Robert Ross with Edward Jones, it brings our total donation to $3655.76. You can see some of the ground work beginning behind us.
