Refrigerator Donated to Family Resource Center
We purchased a refrigerator from Rushmore Furniture and donated it to the Sweetwater Family Resource Center on October 7th. Now they will be able to have a wider variety of food for those who are in need.
Comfort Bags
In September, the Busy Hands Section assembled comfort bags which will be given to the Green River Police Department. The bags are filled with items such as coloring books and crayons, play do, fidgets and a small stuffed animals. When the police are helping a child under stress, these bags can be given to the child to help them calm and the bag goes with the child.
Helping Sweetwater Family Resource Center
The members voted to donate $700 towards the purchase of a refrigerator and an upright freezer for the SFRC. They need them to store perishable foods for those in need. Rushmore furniture is helping by giving us a very good price for them. We need to raise another $700 for this project. If you can help please let us know.
