Club Members Support Bingo Funraiser for Fallen Police Officer
In addition to donating a basket, members of our club attended to directly support the bingo fundraiser to raise money for the family of a recently fallen police officer in Sheridan, Wyoming. Club members were happy to support this noble cause and help out this family in need.
Club Donates Basket to Fundraiser for Police Officer’s Family
Our club donated a basket of Broncos items to the fundraiser for the family of the police officer who was slain in the line of duty in Sheridan earlier this year. The club was happy to help raise money to help them through this tragic time.
Donation Delivered to Rock Springs Animal Control
Today our Club President, Marcia Volner, helped delivered the club’s recent donation to the good folks at Rock Springs Animal Control. Animal Control would like to spread the word about their new sponsorship program, wherein community members not looking to adopt can sponsor the spay/neuter of an animal in the shelter, which ultimately makes them more adoptable.
New Members, a Generous Donation, and Information on Local Recycling Solutions
At today’s meeting our club heard from Michelle Foote, who spoke about the Ray Lovato Recycling Center. We collected donations for Rock Springs Animal Control to help with the recent influx of surrendered animals (23 in one day) including: The club also inducted three new members!
