The general meeting for GFWC Woman’s Club of Rock Springs was held at White Mountain Library on February 20th. The meeting was a potluck with members bringing many delicious foods. The speaker was Barbra Smith a professor emeritus at Western Wyoming Community College who currently does memoir writing classes through the college which are held at Young at Heart. Ms. Smith read one of her memoirs of being a new bride dealing with holidays which the members thoroughly enjoyed.
The members were excited to welcome a new member, Karla Roich, to the club. Karla has been an asset to the club helping with the lending closet for quite awhile and it is nice to have her as a member. Charlette Stewart did the initiation.
The next meeting will be held Tuesday March 20, 2018
