Our General luncheon meeting was held at the Outlaw Inn. It was AWESOME! Many new faces attended with some ones we haven’t seen in awhile! We also had one initiation which was Shirley Palmer! AND 6 new members! Welcome aboard!!
Our Guest Speaker Corporal Brenda Baker with the Rock Springs Police Department was very ill & could not make it BUT… we had the privilege of having Officer Nicole Rublee fill in for her. She spoke about self defense, awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance. Did you know the Police Department holds FREE classes?! Both Officer Nicole & Corp. Brenda teach these classes. Also, many ladies brought in items for our gift baskets & donations, and afghans for our veterans.. One donation was by Lisa Adams of Lisa’s Quilted Dog Blankets & Embroidery which was a beautiful set of Tea Towels for our “Doggie” Basket.
