Today’s meeting was held at the Outlaw Inn. A wonderful Italian buffet lunch was available. Many new business topics were discussed along with old business being settled. We initiated 4 new members ( Becky Acord, Maggie Choate, Cindy Moore & one other).
Our guest speaker was Jennifer Messer from the Rock Springs Museum (located at 201 B Street) who described the museums section rooms, updated items on display, information on the 56 nationalities exhibit, past & future events that they sponsor, new displays out of storage, and volunteer opportunities that are available. Join us for our next General Meeting Tuesday, November 20th @ 11:30am at the Coyote Creek Restaurant -404 N Street, Downtown Rock Springs-Guest Speaker will be John Hennings with Sweetwater Crime Stoppers. This independent organization is comprised of diverse, active and dedicated community representatives. Crime Stoppers provides a method for local law enforcement to receive information on crimes. These efforts increase tips, which in turn increase arrests in our community.
