On Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 the Women’s Club of Sweetwater County attended a city council meeting for the city of Rock Springs where the club was recognized for its many contributions to the community. Club member Marcia Volner spoke to the council and those present about the many positive impacts the clubs’ women have made to the quality of life in Sweetwater County.
The club was honored alongside Casey Kuckert for her work in creating the Professional Women’s Empowerment Network (PWEN).
Mayor Max Mickelson issued a proclamation declaring the observance of Women’s History Month during March in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
