WCSC recently awarded our book grants for the Spring 2025 semester at WWCC. Congratulations to recipients, Amber Randall, Erin Zepeda and Presley Fink. Best of luck to all of you!
Club members recently contributed to the arts in Sweetwater County by helping with food service at the Actors’ Mission’s production of “Love Letters” by A.R. Gurney. Serving up chicken soup, rolls, and cookies, the club helped the theater in it’s mission to feed the body and nourish the mind for all those who came to enjoy the show. Members were given a tour of the Broadway on the last night, and had our pictures taken with the famous signature wall.
Every year, our Holiday House hostess chooses a charity which the club donates 10% of the raffle proceeds from the event to. This year’s hostess Kolbi McKenzie selected the Sweetest Foundation for suicide prevention. She was presented with a check for $241 to go toward this cause.
Women’s club donates $1500 for an adaptive playground swing to Stagecoach Elementary in Rock Springs with the help of a generous donation from Robert Ross of Edward Jones.
