Many members attended this very informative meeting. Discussions focused on the important work of bees & butterflies. We have all read news reports about declining populations of native pollinators. Colony collapse disorder, for example, is a major problem for commercial honeybee hives used to pollinate agricultural crops. The problem is complex, and there are multiple factors at work.

Several ladies worked on finishing up the Task Boxes for the CDC and the State Convention Contest Project, but many brought their own projects to work onโฆfrom afghans and knitted hats to hot pads and dish clothes. Our General luncheon meeting was held at the Outlaw Inn. ย It was AWESOME! Many new faces attended with some ones we havenโt seen in awhile! We also had one initiation which was Shirley Palmer! ย AND 6 new members! Welcome aboard!! Our Guest Speaker Corporal Brenda Baker with the Rock Springs Police Department was very ill & could not make it BUTโฆ we had the privilege of having Officer Nicole Rublee fill in for her.
