With Holiday House behind us, our members enjoyed a well-deserved break and some great food at our annual Christmas party. We’ll see you all next year!
Club members today had a great time decorating trees for the Rock Springs Historical Museum. The decorations were made by club members years ago and were originally used to decorate trees at the Sweetwater County Library System. The club has since transitioned to using these decorations to beautify the museum during the holiday system.
Our club recently donated movie night popcorn basket to Golden Hour Senior Center in support of their Oktoberfest raffle!

Our club gussied up our cow just outside the old Village Inn on Dewar Drive for this year. Be sure to stop and appreciate all the great cows out for summer!
Sweetwater County Women’s club was recognized for a top 10 project in Arts and Culture at the GFWC International Convention in Chicago this year. The project mentioned was the art project decorating the utility boxes around Sweetwater County. We were happy to donate to this project. We love seeing all of the creative artwork on display.
Our own club member, Susan Arguello was recently installed as the state board’s treasurer.
Women’s Club of Sweetwater County recently received 6 creativity awards at the state convention, in addition to recognition for our literature group!
