Today we had Dee Findlay as a guest speaker. She shared how she finds rocks & cuts then into beautiful pieces of art to make jewelry. Was very interesting to learn how she chooses rocks, techniques & tools for cutting, polishing & finished product.
Many ladies had their own projects to work on. Mary Huff demonstrated how to cut grocery bags for crocheting rugs with Leslie Jo Gatti & Beverly Blackwell volunteering to help. Rue Marie Finney worked on her woven chair for our Holiday House Raffle, Edna Larsen & Maggie Choate were embroidering, while Cindy Moore & Charlette Stewart were crocheting.
We had fun! Join us next month, Tuesday October 23rd @ 1pm at the Rock Springs Library on C Street. Bring whatever you are working on or assist helping others with their projects. Always something to do!
